Great pizza in the Macedon region. Dough is great and cooked perfectly, a little shy on the toppings would be my only comment. Great outside area, dog friendly. Staff even closed gates so that our puppy could walk freely outside. They have live music as well from time to time. Will be back for more pizza next time in the area.

Awesome little place, rustic vibe, very casual but the food and wine is absolutely first rate! I had the baked fish with was absolutely incredible - my partner had the braised goat pizza, and it was without a doubt the best I have ever had. The quality of produce really speaks for itself. Oh and is there anything better than a roaring open fire in the winter?

Great pizzas and the best around. Have been coming for years. A refreshingly crisp wood fired. Some in Melbourne can get soggy, but not here. Super high quality ingredients. Anyone complaining about the expense doesn’t understand the entirety of the price delta is going to their suppliers. Only complaint is occasionally the toppings are too minimal and you end up with too much of the base in the flavour. But 95% of the time extremely delicious. Has been takeaway only since COVID even when permitted. A shame as the restaurant has a great ambiance with the fireplace and taxidermy. Also great Holgate on tap too.

Fun place to eat. Great range of pizza and other food (non-pizza). Interesting toppings on the perfect wood fire pizza base, yum. My leek special had a little too much on top, making the pizza a little soggy and a little too sweet. All other pizzas were great! Reasonably priced. always friendly staff.
